PEACH POUND CAKE

1c. softened butter or margarine
3c. sugar
6 eggs, room temperature
3c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2c. sour cream, room temperature
2c. peaches, peeled and finely chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time mixing after each. Combine flour, soda and salt in separate bowl; set aside. Mix sour cream and peaches together. Add dry ingredients alternately with peach mixture to creamed ingredients. Stir in flavoring. Bake in prepared pans for 1 hour. Remove pans to cooling rack. Dust with confectioners sugar, if desired.
